In the Arabic language, Duals also have special pattern. مَرْفُوعٌ case has ان as ending. مَــنْــصُــوْبٌ and مَجْرُورٌ have يْن (aiyn) as ending. See below table.

Exercises
- State TRUE or FALSE: The dual form of the word حِزْبٌ (a party) is present in the verse Quran (18:12) and it is not مَرْفُوعٌ.
- State TRUE or FALSE: The two dual forms are present in the verse Quran (18:32) and they are of the words رَجُلٌ (a man) and جَنَّــةٌ (a garden).
- State TRUE or FALSE: The dual form of the word “an orphan” is present in the verse Quran (18:82).
